I am from a Reform Jewish background. I began doing "alternative" spiritual work in the early/mid-80s, but also stayed involved in Gay/Jewish groups. I was President of the local synagogue from 1985-87. I have done many forms of spiritual practice over all these years, attending many different gay and gay/lesbian gatherings, workshops and courses. I have done training with Body Electric, and have worked as a Sacred Intimate for more than 12 years. My spiritual practice is basically Theravada Buddhist, with earth-based ritual added in for good measure.
